Overview
WordPress operations consume credits, and the amounts are predictable, so you can budget before a big run. The base costs are small; images are the main variable because each uploaded image adds one credit. Use the figures below to estimate single posts, updates, and batches.
Details
- Publish — 5 credits base, plus 1 credit per image (for example, a page with 3 images is 8 credits).
- Update — 2 credits, plus 1 credit if you also update the featured image.
- Unpublish — 1 credit.
- Health check — 0.5 credits.
- Batch — (5 credits x pages) + (1 credit x total images); a 20-page batch averaging 3 images each is about 160 credits.
Check before you move on
- Images drive most of the cost — compressing and trimming unnecessary images keeps batches affordable.
- Check your credit balance before a large batch and top up in Settings -> Credits if needed.
