Overview
The WordPress integration publishes your AI-generated content pages directly to a WordPress site in one click, so there is no manual copy-pasting. It carries over formatting, uploads images to the media library, and syncs SEO metadata. Before you connect, make sure your WordPress site meets a few requirements, and plan for the credit cost of publishing.
Details
- What it does — one-click publishing, automatic image upload, SEO metadata sync (including Open Graph and Yoast where present), draft or publish modes, post updates, unpublishing, and batch publishing.
- WordPress requirements — version 5.6 or higher (6.0+ recommended), HTTPS enabled (required for Application Passwords), and the REST API available (on by default).
- Access — you need admin access to WordPress to create an Application Password, and enough credits in ContentScaler.
- Cost — 5 credits per publish plus 1 credit per image; updates cost 2 credits (+1 if updating the featured image); unpublishing costs 1 credit.
- Hosting — works with any provider running WordPress 5.6+ with HTTPS (WP Engine, Kinsta, SiteGround, and others).
Check before you move on
- If you can't find Application Passwords in WordPress, your site is likely below 5.6 or not on HTTPS.
- Start in Draft mode so you can review formatting in WordPress before going live.
