Keeping your account secure is a top priority. Follow these steps to change your password directly from your user settings.
Step 1: Access Your Account Settings
- Log in to your ContentScale dashboard.
- Click on your Profile Name/Icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Change Password
- On the My Account page, scroll down to the section titled Change Password.
- In the New password field, type your desired new password.
- In the Confirm new password field, re-type the exact same password to verify it.
Step 3: Save Your Changes
- Click the blue Update Password button.
- If successful, your credentials will be updated immediately.
⚠️ Troubleshooting: Password Mismatch
If the passwords entered in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields do not match, the system will not save the changes.
- Error Message: You will see a red notification at the bottom right of the screen stating: "Password mismatch. Password and confirmation password do not match.".
- Solution: Clear both fields and carefully re-enter your new password to ensure they are identical.
Account Information Overview
While in the My Account section, you can also view your Account Information, including:
- Your unique Account ID.
- The Account Created date.
- Your Last Sign In timestamp.
- Your Account Type (e.g., ContentScaler Admin).
