Overview
Social media publishing lets you post to networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Reddit directly from your content workspace — no copy-pasting between tools. It is easiest to understand as four building blocks that fit together, and once you know them the rest of the guides slot into place.
Details
- Connections — the social accounts a domain is allowed to publish to, authorized once through a secure window.
- Templates — content page types marked as Social Media and tied to one or more platforms; the platform link gives a template its icon and decides which accounts can use it.
- Posts — created one at a time or in bulk, with optional AI-written text and AI-generated or uploaded images.
- Scheduling — posts go out immediately or at a date and time you pick, all tracked on the Schedules tab.
- Behind the scenes ContentScaler connects through one of two providers, PostPeer or Upload-Post. You do not choose it — it is set per domain — and each connected account shows a small badge telling you which one it uses.
Check before you move on
- You need at least one connected account and one social template before the posting wizards have anything to work with.
- Find posting on the domain's Social Media tab, connections on the Connections card, and scheduling on the Schedules tab.
