Overview
A domain can hold more than one account on the same platform — for example two Facebook Pages or several LinkedIn accounts. This is useful when you manage multiple brands or regions from one workspace. You decide which account a post goes to when you create it, so connecting more accounts simply gives you more targets to choose from.
Details
- To add another account, open Manage Social Media Connections and click Add account (PostPeer) or Connect another (Upload-Post). Each platform shows how many accounts are connected.
- ContentScaler groups connected logins into accounts. When one account has more than one active login, each is labeled primary, fallback, or additional.
- Use the Primary credential / Fallback credential selectors to choose which login publishes first, then click Save.
- Which accounts a post uses is decided per post in the posting wizard, not globally.
Check before you move on
- Already-scheduled posts keep the accounts they were assigned — connecting a new account later does not add it to an existing schedule.
- On Upload-Post the shared account is capped at two profiles; a third connection fails with a generic error and needs support.
