This guide covers the process of removing a domain from your ContentScaler account. Please use this function with caution, as it is a permanent action.
⚠️ Important: Before You Delete
Deleting a domain is a permanent action that cannot be undone. According to the system warning, this will permanently delete all:
- Content pages
- Elements
- Associated data for the specific domain
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Navigate to Customer Settings
- From your main dashboard, locate the sidebar on the left-hand side.
- Click on Customer Settings.
2. Locate Your Domain
- Ensure the Domains tab is selected (this is usually the default view).
- Find the domain you wish to remove from the Customer Domains list.
3. Access the Actions Menu
- On the right side of the domain entry, click the three-dot icon (...) under the Actions column.
- Select Delete Domain from the dropdown menu.
4. Confirm the Deletion
- A confirmation modal titled Delete Domain will appear on the screen.
- Review the warning message to ensure you are deleting the correct domain.
- Click the red Delete Domain button to confirm.
The page will refresh automatically, and the domain will be removed from your list.
